iBotsoft: The Aliens are Coming

We are wrapping up our next title which is sorta of a crazy cross between minesweeper and a simple combat sim. This is based off on the first games we did many years ago, brought back to life as an Android App.   The idea is to quickly sweep a grid of aliens before time runs out.    Still working out the art issues, or I'd post a screen shot or two.

As we planned out the next few titles we wanted to work on, a theme appeared, and we really liked the tie in between titles.   The next few titles will let us explore worlds besides our own.   We are also working on a classic alien themed RTS game.

Alien Sector

Alien Sector is a fast paced strategy puzzle game for the Android platform. The game features three different map sizes to match your time requirements. Play a short 10 minute round or try the longer 30+ minute time on the large map. Each alien has three levels of strength and unique combat abilities. Alien Sector also provides a wide variety of weapons for the player, allowing you to get stronger firepower as you progress through the map. You are also provided with the option to select a specific map again based on the gameseed if you want to try it again or compete against a friend.

We will be integrating OpenFeint into Alien Sector in our next release this week. OpenFeint will allow you to compete for high scores against your friends, as well as unlocking over 20 different achievements we have added to Alien Sector.

A more enhanced paid version will be also be coming out this week. Challenge yourself to play on Normal and Heroic difficulty and take over those high scores, as well as clearing the additional achievements. More features to come as well, including the ability to save those longer games when you get interrupted!

Subby and the Fishes

Help guide Subby through a vast underwater cave system as he collects fish on his journey! Be careful though as Subby only has a limited amount of air. Fortunately, he gets a small boost of air to help keep him alive as he collects fish.

Subby and the Fishes is a fast paced game where you need to avoid the underwater obstacles such as cave walls, sharks, and moving rocks. At the same time, you need to collect fish to keep your air supply from running out. When your air bar is completely full you will advance to the next level of difficulty. Your score will go up faster as your level increases, but so will the challenges.

You can find Subby and the Fishes in the Android Market by clicking on the following links on your phone. The free version of Subby and the Fishes will let you play on easy or medium difficulty, but the game will end once you reach 5,000 points.

Dot n Munch

Dot n Munch is a fast paced game where you need to quickly move Dot into the only safe place on the level. You can guide Dot by tapping the screen where you want Dot to move to, or use the d-pad to control him directly. Decide quick, or Dot will be MUNCHED.

Dot n Munch is a very simple game that can be very challenging. As the levels get higher, so does the speed and the difficulty of determining the safe place for Dot. To top it off, Dot likes to think he's qualified to do standup comedy. We aren't so sure.
